    Welcome, New Friends!
    Perhaps now would be a good time for me to officially welcome several of our newest acquaintances:

    Vriska, Kasuka, Giovanni- we're happy to have all of you here! Please make yourselves at home (and do try to get along *cough*Vriska*cough*)!

    Feel free to introduce yourselves here if you'd like.

    Oh, by the way, now might also be a good time to answer a short survey concerning sexuality- although I understand that your situation might be somewhat different, Vriska.

    So, Lang...
    I don't mean to tread on the nerves of anyone *cough*Machi, Daryan, Adachi, Dojima, Roy, Envy*cough* who's gone through a tough time regarding this sort of thing, but are Mr. & Mrs. Lang going to let us meet their son or daughter anytime soon? I don't even know which it is! (And I'm GANT!) I promise everyone will be quiet and keep their grimy hands away, what with the baby being so delicate and all...

    Anyway, this boy has recently come into my care and he's much diminished in power, so please treat him nicely.

    A Silly Survey!

    Our late friend.
    A little bit of biographical information on our late pal, as told to me by his brother:

    Lon Thomas Kimblee was born Oct. 10, 1883 in the town of Fernburg, in southern Amestris. He was the second son of James and Lydia Kimblee. He was well-liked from birth, with a quiet, easy-going nature and an overwhelming desire to please others. He could be a bit shy and tended to slip into his brother's shadow.

    As we were all aware, he adored his older brother, following him into the study of alchemy, and later into a life away from home in South City. Lon may have tended toward mimicry of his brother when it came to hobbies, but he stood on his own in his study of music, learning to play the piano and showing particular skill in composition. Back in Amestris he had hoped to one day make a living as a composer.

    Based on my own observations, I can say he was a cute kid- forgiving, kind, and naive. He brought a new wave of music to our place. He was a peaceful member of our community- exactly what we need.

    Anyone got anything else they'd like to say about Lon? Feel free to speak up.

    Was something happening just now over by Roy and Anise and Daryan's room? Cuz I heard a lot of noise, but by the time I showed up, the only ones there were some girls talking to Kristoph and Kimblee and Izaya trying not to bust a gut.

    Family? Um, a questionaire, I suppose.
    Uh...Kimblee sort of inadvertently gave me the idea to ask all of you these questions. Hopefully we can all relax and chat about this kind of thing and take our minds off the recent troubles here...

    Okay, assuming you were happily married or in whatever situation you would consider ideal for this kind of thing, would you want to have children or not? How many? Boys or girls? If not your own biological children, how about adopting? If you already have children, would you ever want to have any more? Are you looking forward to grandchildren?

    Franziska, I have some ideas about how to punish Kristoph and Machi, if you're open to hearing them.

    For Machi's "community service" -

    + perform for us for at least half an hour every day unless ill or prevented from doing so by a special event
    ---duration (assuming good behavior): for one year
    + some sort of chore duty - Sebastian, I'm putting you in charge of deciding what chore Machi can best help you with and supervising him to see that he carries it out
    ---duration (assuming good behavior): for one year
    + official apology to Ema for his crime
    + official apology to our "community" for causing so much trouble for us
    + "probation" - I'd like to appoint Kimblee, Lamiroir, and myself to share the responsibility of monitoring Machi's behavior. Further bending and breaking of our rules will result in a much heavier punishment.
    ---duration (assuming good behavior): as long as your three "probation officers" see fit

    Machi, if it would make you feel better to specifically do anything else for Ema (and others involved in this), I know it would be looked upon favorably.

    For Kristoph's "community service" -

Further bending and breaking of our rules will result in a much heavier punishment.
    ---duration (assuming good behavior): as long as your three "probation officers" see fit

    As I said to Machi, ditto to you, Kristoph.

    I wish I could dole out some court-ordered therapy for the both of you, but I don't have that resource at my disposal...

    If anyone else has any other suggestions, I'd be more than happy to hear them. I feel that Kristoph could use another sort of service duty.
